1) Following the full implementation of the unified legal profession system pursuant to the revision of the Court Organization Act in 2013, legal professionals who graduated from law schools and acquired three years of legal experience were first appointed as judges in 2015. Since then, long-term training programs have been conducted for newly appointed judges.
2) Among the 121 newly appointed judges as of October 6, 2023, one judge who took parental leave during the 2023 new judge training period was included (Second-phase training conducted from February 26 to April 19, 2024). One individual who was on maternity leave and therefore did not participate in the 2024 new judge training was excluded.
3) Of the 111 newly appointed judges as of October 4, 2024, 110 participated in the 2024 new judge training program, with one judge excluded due to maternity leave. In addition, one judge appointed on October 6, 2023-who was previously excluded from the 2023 training program due to maternity leave-was included.
